International Mining Forum

Venue 

The International Mining Forum is going be held at ‘Orle Gniazdo' (‘Eagle's Nest') Hotel in Szczyrk (Upper Silesian mountain region) in Poland (http://www.orle-gniazdo.pl/). This venue is approximately 90 minutes drive from Cracow and 60 minutes from Katowice.

Document submission

The abstracts of the papers (not more than 1800 characters) should be submitted with the use of forms available on the website or by email.

Authors of the abstracts accepted by Program Committee will be invited to post the presentation version of the paper.

We strongly encourage web-based submission via on-line form.

 

Papers adhering to formal requirements and presenting high scientific quality will be printed in the conference proceedings published by Francis & Taylor (A.A.BALKEMA).

Authors are requested to invest all possible effort into addressing these requirements when preparing their papers. Papers not presenting reasonably good English and not fulfilling formal criteria or of poor scientific quality as judged by the reviewers will not be included in the Book.

 

Key dates

Theme with abstract due date - September 30th, 2007

Notification of acceptance - October 31st, 2007

Submission of camera-ready paper - November 30th, 2007

 

Note

The authors whose papers are accepted for presentation during the International Mining Forum 2008, are expected to register and make the necessary financial arrangements with the Conference Office before December 31st, 2007. Otherwise, their paper will not be included neither in the Program of International Mining Forum 2008 nor in the proceeding of International Mining Forum 2008.
